Hey gang, I don’t get a lot of time in our one-on-one patient visits to delve deeply into how to actually practice healthy habits. Summer is the perfect time to make these lifestyle changes, as it is a season of bounty with longer days, warmer weather and abundant local produce. I’m so excited to be joined by my colleague, Dr. Michal Waldfogel, ND who has over a decade of experience in group facilitation, community building and yoga teaching.

“This group was great! Excellent resources and discussions and I found myself laughing during every session. Sometimes the choice to show up to my health needs can feel difficult (distractions, time, energy, etc.) but meeting together with a group of people interested in prioritizing their health was a great way for me to keep myself accountable to my own health goals, and the camaraderie made it fun! I was unsure of what to expect in a Zoom group but it was so well organized and hosted with such care that any anticipated potential awkwardness disappeared immediately and I found the platform to be really authentic. In this two-part group visit series, we will spend time as a group learning, discussing and sharing resources to support your health goals. In this group setting you will have the opportunity to connect with others who are on the same journey as you towards better heath and habits. During each visit you will have a brief individual check-in with Dr. Erickson to discuss your individual health goals.

Wednesday, July 28th, 2021: Stress, sleep and mindfulness practices. In this visit we will build on ideals of wellness through calming and restorative activities.

Wednesday, August 11th, 2021: Healthy eating habits, body movement and vitality. In this visit we will explore activities and food that support and nourish our bodies. 

TIME: 5:30-7:30 pm PDT

LOCATION: Online via secure Zoom platform

INVESTMENT: We will bill your insurance for each visit just like your normal medical visits. If you are unfamiliar with your insurance plan, we recommend you call your insurance company to learn about your benefits and how the cost sharing around your visits works – for some individuals, there is a copay or a deductible, so you should find out what your financial responsibility is for your medical visits. If Dr. Erickson is out of network with your insurance company, cash rates are available.
